Aside from the direct benefits and incentives that accreditation shall bring to the tourism establishments, ancillary facilities, and service providers, adherence to the QSST will also provide a range of benefits and incentives to the other stakeholders and environment as well.

Tourism establishment operators/service providers who met the criteria will receive the certificate and seal of distinction, identification badge, and sticker and will get the following incentives:

i. The certificate of accreditation, seal of distinction, identification badge and sticker will enhance their credibility and will be recognized as quality service provider;

ii. Promotion and in the PTC website ( as well as any upcoming websites of the provincial government/tourism office);

iii. Inclusion in the BTO brochures or any promotional collateral produced by the officewhich will be distributed at tourism information counters collaterals (brochures video and list of establishments/services for referrals to tourists/customers);

iv. Invitation to participate in travel tradeshows attended by the BTO;

v. Invitation to participate in all training offered by the provincial tourism office and/or other relevant line offices /entities;

vi. Availability of incentives from appropriate national government agency/ies and/or concerned local government units;

vii. Endorsement of projects (extension or new) to financing institutions;

viii. Training and capability building assistance from;

ix. Clients will be encouraged to use accredited or certified operators and service providers;

x. Introduction of waste management principles such as reduce, reuse and recycle and safe disposal of residual waste as well as sound energy and water resource management and conservation can make sound business sense; and

xi. A tool to help determine tourism products and activities that will optimize benefits and lower costs;

For the consumers/visitors of the province, they will get the following:

xii. Value for money experience;

xiii. Greater assurance of an acceptable level of safety, comfort, and convenience and reliability of the establishment/facility service;

xiv. A means to identify recognized tourism establishments and service providers;

For the PTC and PGB

xv. Increase in tourist arrivals and continued patronage of tourists;

xvi. Increase in government revenues and generation of foreign exchange earnings;

xvii. Lesser/minimized complaints regarding the hospitality service;

xviii. Increase and/or expansion of investments;

xix. Improve conservations practices that mitigate environmental impacts and ensure sustainable use of resources;

xx. A basis for recognizing tourism products and services;

xxi. Successful development of tourism at its various levels;

For the local communities and stakeholders

xxii. Increase in per capita income through direct and indirect means resulting in increase in economic acivity resulting to better way of life;

xxiii. Better community/local stakeholders awareness and participation in development thrusts leading to social empowerment;

xxiv. Generation of employment opportunities;

xxv. Upholding of traditional Boholano crafts, music, arts, vernacular architectural designs, customs, tradition and lifestyle, promotes cultural consciousness and appreciation resulting to preservation of cultural heritage through the maintenance of museums, theaters and other cultural facilities and folk arts performances;
